The Vision Reality System is an easy to use Windows based computer system that provides flexible integrated ID card design, production and management. It includes a powerful integrated industry standard database.
 
Vision Reality  ID cards can automatically include barcodes and/or magnetic stripe information for use in conjunction with access control or debit systems.  If you require signatures, these can also be stored and printed on the ID card in the one print job.

Vision Reality photographs are captured using a digital still camera, video camera, or alternatively, scanned images.  All images are usually 5 Kbytes each, stored as 24-bit high colour images, saved in JPEG format.

Vision Reality‘s Colour ID card print time is the industry’s fastest at 25 seconds, using Windows compatible Dye Sublimation Printers. Cards can also be produced without photos or signatures.

Vision Reality allows you to create different card designs for different categories of card holder, which means you can design different cards for permanent or temporary employees, students, consultants, contractors and visitors. Cards can also be double-sided.

Vision Reality is also an ideal base for a Student Management, Human Resource or Membership Management System - Imagine displaying pictures of your personnel or patrons at the same time as viewing their database records!

Vision Reality was designed from the ground up to integrate with other systems such as  access control, time and attendance or online charge systems (for photocopiers, laser printers, PC and Internet charge systems),  library, smart card and other database systems you may already use. Sensible Business Solutions can optionally design a database interface that will automatically accept from or send information to your preferred system. This automatic link could either update an audit trail and/or pop up the individual’s security database information and/or picture on a security officer’s PC.

The minimum requirements for Vision Reality are any IBM compatible Pentium III PC or better, with a minimum 512MB RAM running Windows 2000 (SP4) or later.

Vision Reality is not a proprietary hardware solution and does not need a dedicated workstation.

Vision Reality was a finalist in the 1996 Software of The Year Awards run by the Channel Nine TV Network.

Vision Reality‘s databases are based on Microsoft’s fast Visual FoxPro database engine.  The database, providing standard data entry facilities, can display information entered and images captured on the same screen, PLUS, it can be customised for each customer with full password security.

Vision Reality uses Windows’ conventional Print Manager to control the printing process therefore new print management skills are not necessary, resulting in a quick and easy installation, which includes on-line help and a full user manual.

Vision Reality Platinum Version is multi-user ready and supports connectivity with all Windows-compatible local area networks (2003,NT, Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP, Novell).
 
There is also available a Software Development Add-On Kit for developers to add the various Vision Reality components into existing Windows-based software.
