Kevin Spanner
Chief Executive Officer
Kevin Spanner is a well known computer consultant in Sydney with over 20 years in the IT industry. He is also a qualified accountant and has a wide experience across various industries in areas such as best management practices, strategic planning and computer-related technology, implementation and planning.
He has been involved in design and support of business networks, Photo ID systems, computerised accountancy systems, PC software development on a number of levels, and as a consultant in PC hardware, software, security, mobile convergence, LAN and WAN network support.
Kevin Spanner's achievements include being the Chief IT and Communications consultant for Telstra Stadium (nee Stadium Australia) - the main site for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Kevin designed and implemented the entire computer system infrastructure for the stadium and is on call for every major event held at the stadium. Kevin was also the stadium’s onsite IT consultant for the Rugby World Cup in 2003.
Other achievements include the Chief IT and Communications consultant for Football Federation Australia and the Socceroos for the Soccer World Cup in Germany in 2006.
Kevin Spanner was also chief of Project Implementation for the smartcard Photo ID systems pilot for the NSW TAFEcard in 1998 and the 2006 University of Sydney Unicard / T-card project.
Kevin Spanner was also one of the founding members of the Microsoft-hosted successful Sydney Small Business Server Users group.
Kevin Spanner has successfully supplied technology assistance to a diverse range of clients including The Australian Institute of Sport, Australian Catholic University, NSW Casino Control Authority, Club Marconi, Oakhill College, FAI Security Group, Hanimex and Roche Pharmaceuticals.
His background and expertise has brought him the skills to be able to come to grips with the requirements of users within all types of small business, corporate, government and educational environments and work them into practical commercial solutions which are dynamic, easy to use and affordable
Rod Pozo
Technical Director
Rod Pozo is one of the company founders and Managing Directors, he also leads the technical direction of the company. Analysing and evaluating new technologies as they appear and become available.
Rod Pozo formerly the founder and director of Amplus I.T. (2001). He is also co-founder of Sydney’s dynamic internet hosting company “SYDHost.com” now in it’s 3rd year of it’s boutique operations and firmly entrenched in the SME web and email hosting market with many clients locally and overseas.
Previous to this Rod Pozo has been associated with large Novell and Microsoft based networks, working primarily in the healthcare industry. He has worked in global organisations such as Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, government sites such as Northern Sydney Area Health Service based at Royal North Shore Hospital and also been heavily involve in other medium to large nationwide corporate IT networks.
Nowadays Rod Pozo chooses to apply his technical experience and corporate “know-how” to the Australian SME market, specializing in Microsoft Small Business Server range of products including Microsoft’s Exchange, ISA and SharePoint Server. Bundled together with his excellent network security knowledge and experience on Juniper Netscreen Firewalls and Cisco routers, he has helped make Sensible Business Solutions the success story it is today.
With the IT industry changing on a daily basis Rod Pozo understands that it is imperative to keep on studying to be one step ahead of technology and able to embrace change as it arrives.
Currently finishing off his Masters degree through Charles Stuart University on a part time evening basis, Rod Pozo’s current industry and technical qualifications are second to none in today’s IT marketplace.

James Xuereb
Client Development Director
James Xuereb is one of the company’s founding team members and share holder
He leads the Website Development services and Sensible's Marketing Department. His role includes responsibility for the Visual profile of the company, developing business processes, marketing material, SYDHost website hosting services and customer support services for Small Business Server & Vision Reality ID card management software.
Prior to moving into this role James Xuereb was a director of Amplus I.T. (since 1st January 2005).
James Xuereb has spent the last 6 years working together with clients of various industries to provide them with technical, marketing and graphic design solutions. James Xuereb was also Co-Founder of the SYDHost.com website hosting company in 2002 along with Rod Pozo. Formerly James Xuereb was the Director of JXA design which he founded in 1999.
During his completion of his Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Nepean he was employed by the University providing graphics design and I.T. support solutions.
James Xuereb is a member of many professional organizations. A well respected long standing martial arts instructor (region 2 minisite profile) with the Go-Kan-Ryu Karate-Do Federation of Australia. He provides weekly lessons at Minchinbury to students ranging in experience levels and of all ages.
